The latest in our series of intimate live music performances, Lust for Live Acoustic: One Proud Monkey!
One Proud Monkey first graced Dubbo stages in 2012 – that’s 4 whole Prime Ministers ago! The original Wiggles were still on deck and the Australian Dollar was actually worth something. Luckily Clint was able to document some stuff on his iPhone 4 and it has been preserved for the history books.
Since that first appearance there have been 2 albums, two EP’s, 40+ gigs with nearly 40 different songs performed, a tour way out west and back and shows from the coast to a winery to the nation’s capital.
But one thing they haven’t done, is play the Black Box Theatre in Dubbo. So after a relatively quiet 2019 and armed with a new anthem the band are playing a hometown show on December 14, as you have never seen them. 7 years in the making, it has a led to this.

Lust for Live Acoustic is presented in the Black Box Theatre. Located upstairs in the Community Arts Centre at the Western Plains Cultural Centre, this raked theatrette is the perfect setting for an intimate music performance.
Doors open at 5:30pm, with bar available.
Performance from 6:00-6:45pm.
