Born and raised on a property outside the small town of Oberon in Central Western NSW, Clancy Pye grew up with country music in her blood. First picking up a guitar at the age of six, the 2020 Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist & 2015 Áristocrat Entertainer of The Year has spent a lifetime performing. Having begun working as a musician at age 12 in bands and as a solo artist across the Central West, Clancy has spent the best part of her life playing music.
Sharing her own music for the first time in 2020 with the release of her long awaited Self-Titled debut EP, Clancy’s first two singles ‘Get Lost’ & ‘Heaven Can't Wait’ both debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart with her music videos also receiving widespread recognition. Her latest music video for ‘Heaven Can’t Wait’ received over 100,000 views in just three days following its release and has now been watched over 200, 000 times.
Wrapping up a Sold-Out EP Release Tour at the end of 2020, Clancy has rapidly attracted an extensive audience, fast becoming one of the most exciting singer-songwriters in Australian music.
